High School: Pettway lettered for head coach Clifton Reeves at Keith High School in Orrville, Ala.… collected ASWA 1A All-State First Team and AL.com Super All-State Second Team honors following his senior campaign… averaged 23.7 points and 6.2 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game while concluding the year as a finalist for the ASWA 1A Player of the Year Award, which went to current teammate Dionte Wood… led KHS to an appearance in the AHSAA 1A State Tournament semifinals, falling to Wood and Sacred Heart Catholic High School… scored 34 points in the quarterfinals and semifinals of the state tournament, earning a spot on the AHSAA State Finals All-Tournament Team… named the Selma Times-Journal Dallas County Player of the Year… represented one of just 12 players in the state to earn an invite to the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Game, a contest he started… named to the ASWA 1A All-State Second Team as a junior in 2015… also earned an invitation to the Alabama North/South All-Star Game… scored more than 1,800 points in his career.
