Started three games and played in 26 in his first season as a
Golden Eagle...averaged 3.4 points per contest...scored a
season-high 10 points against Lipscomb on Dec. 11...shot 46 percent
(34-for-74) from the field...averaged 2.2 rebounds per game and
grabbed a season-high eight boards at Austin Peay on Jan. 20.
2009-10 (at
Centenary):
Appeared in 26 of 29 games at Centenary, averaging 7.4 points in
21.9 minutes per game...shot 61 percent from the free throw line
and contributed 192 points, 23 assists, 10 blocks and 99 total
rebounds on the year.
HIGH
SCHOOL:
A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., he played his first two years of high
school ball there before transferring to Dacula (Ga.) High School,
where he finished out his career under head coach BJ Roy...as a
guard/forward, he averaged 18 points, seven rebounds and three
assists per game, and helped to fuel the team to a region
championship and the state sweet 16 in his junior year...was also
honored individually in high school on and off the court, earning
mention on the Gwinnett County All-Star Team and January’s
Player of the Month Award at Dacula...was a member of the National
Honor Society and noted for his academic achievement on the
basketball team.
