In 2009-2010 (Junior): Jones was the only player to start all 32 games for Tech, recording 765 total minutes and leading the team with a field percentage of .667 (120-180). He also lead the Golden Eagles in offensive rebounds with 65 and total recounds with 164, averaging 5.1 rebounds and 11.9 points per game. Jones contributed 293 points, 21 steals and 17 blocks (second on the team) for the season, and also notched 25 assists. He was named the team's Most Improved Player and Top Rebounder by Coach Sutton, and also earned the Field Goal Percentage award as his numbers led the Ohio Valley Conference in field goal percentage. He also ranked 12th in the OVC in rebounds.
In 2008-09 (Sophomore): Alfred played in all 30 games for the Golden Eagles including 11 starts...scored in double figures four times, including a career-high 13 points against UT Martin in the Ohio Valley Conference tournament on March 3...hit .570 (49-of-86) of his field goals on the season and .417 (10-of-24) of his three point attempts...averaged 4.0 points, and 2.3 rebounds in 12.4 minutes per game...shared the team's Golden Eagle award at the conclusion of the season.
At Lincoln: Alfred played one season for head
coach B.J. McCullum at Lincoln College in Illinois...played in all
33 games for the Lynx...averged 6.8 rebounds and 11 points a
game...top rebounder on team with several upperclassmen.
