High School: A local standout, Hill was a four-year letterwinner at Cookeville High School and holds the record for all-time leading scorer with 1,649 career points. He averaged 22 points, six assists and two steals per game during his senior season and helped his team to claim the regular season district championship title. He was named the District G-AAA MVP and was a member of the All-Region team. Additionally, he participated in the Senior TCAT East West All-Star Game.

Personal: Native to Cookeville, Mitchell is the son of Bryan and Melissa Hill, born on July 7, 1991. He intends to major in marketing.
