2015 (Sophomore): Jackson played in all 11 games, recording three tackles. He also carried the ball twice for four yards.

2014 (Freshman): Cooper played in nine games in his rookie season...valuable in a blocking role, but also had a few opportunities with the ball in his hands...had six carries for 19 yards and caught one pass for five yards...all of those numbers came in the game at UT Martin...exhibited just a small sampling of what he might be capable of throughout his career...received the team's Dog Daggett Most Improved Player Award. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Cooper was a four-time letterwinner on the football field as well as four seasons on the basketball team at Lipscomb Academy...named the Defensive MVP of the team for three seasons and selected all-district all three seasons...chosen as the team's overall MVP one season...played tight end for the offense and was a linebacker on the defense.

PERSONAL: The son of Clark and Jane Jackson…born February 22, 1995…full name is Alexander Cooper Jackson…father Clark played football at Sewanee.
