A really strong showing in spring has put Gage in position to see increased playing time in his sophomore season...will be in the rotation of three playing the two guard positions...has one year experience on the field and two seasons on the roster...moves extremely well for his size...good footwork...most likely to see playing time at right guard...had a standout career as a lineman on both sides of scrimmage in high school...spent one season on the roster in a learning role as a redshirt and took advantage of the opportunity to develop his strength and stamina, then put that into practice last season.

AT TECH (IN 2014): Gage saw action in six games in his first season on the field.

(IN 2013):  Gage redshirted his first year on the team...worked with the scout team.

HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year starter on both the football and baseball teams at Creek Wood High School in Charlotte, Tenn... three-time all-district selection in football and twice chosen as team captain...starting lineman on both sides of scrimmage for the Red Hawks...led the team to three playoff appearances in his four seasons...two-time All-District 11AA pick...also a two-time MVP Lineman who graded out over 90 percent...chosen the 2012 Tennessee Impact Player of the year, and picked to play in the Down Under Bowl.

PERSONAL: The son of Mike and Martha Terry...born May 30, 1995 in Dickson, Tenn...full name is Gage McKinley Terry...majoring in civil engineering.
