An extremely athletic player, Preston will get his opportunity to see playing time in 2015 afte a season as a redshirt and a solid outing in spring drills...contninuing to work toward increasing his size...greatest impact could be rushing the passer...playing the "jack" defensive end position...standout prep player looking to make the jump to being a factor on the collegiate level.

AT TECH (IN 2014): Preston was on the squad and spent his first sason as a redshirt, working on the scout team.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Preston is an all-star defensive end from Wilson Central High School for coach Brad Dedman... three- year starter... two-time District 9-AAA Defensive Lineman of the Year and Wilson County Lineman of the Year in 2013... as a senior he recorded 12 quarterback sacks, 12 tackles-for-loss, blocked two punts and two field goals, deflected 18 passes and forced two fumbles... made 75 tackles in 11 games... played in the Toyota East/West All-Star game in Tucker Stadium, where he blocked a punt... also served as long snapper for his high school team... his team played in the 6A playoffs his junior and senior year...an Honor student.
