Heading up the group of players who will fill the "H" position in 2015, Cooper was perhaps the most improved player on the team during spring drills...that continued the growth he exhibited all last season, when he was chosen winner of the Dog Daggett Most Improved Player Award from spring through the fall seasons...has the size of a fullback...combination of skills makes him an excellent blocker and ball carrier...hard-nosed player who is very physical...a walk-on who shows grit and determination...good strength and continues to develop with strong work ethic in the weight room.

AT TECH (IN 2014): Cooper played in nine games in his rookie season...valuable in a blocking role, but also had a few opportunities with the ball in his hands...had six carries for 19 yards and caught one pass for five yards...all of those numbers came in the game at UT Martin...exhibited just a small sampling of what he might be capable of throughout his career...received the team's Dog Daggett Most Improved Player Award.

HIGH SCHOOL: Cooper was a four-time letterwinner on the football field as well as four seasons on the basketball team at Lipscomb academy...named the Defensive MVP of the team for three seasons and selected all-district all three seasons...chosen as the team's overall MVP one season...played tight end for the offense and was a linebacker on the defense.
