Justin returns to the field after receiving his bachelor's degree in May...will play his final season of eligibility as a graduate student...has dropped around 40 pounds into a sturdy 340 which should make him more mobile and more effective...heads into the season as a projected starter at left guard...has quietly developed into a dependable piece in the Golden Eagle offensive line...looked solid in spring drills...spent one season as a redshirt to learn the system and has used the Tech strength and conditioning program to improve his strength...has earned the stamp of approval of the coaching staff...has loads of ability...continues to improve his conditioning.

AT TECH (IN 2014): Justin played in all 12 games and earned the starting assignment at Northern Iowa...was a regular in the front line rotation, splitting playing time.

(IN 2013): Only saw action in two games due to injury, seeing playing time against Cumberland and Eastern Kentucky.

(IN 2012): Justin saw action in nine games for the Golden Eagles in his first season on the field...earned more and more playing time as the season developed.

(IN 2011): Justin spent his first season with the Golden Eagles as a redshirt and lined up on the scout teams.

HIGH SCHOOL: Justin received accolades for his play in the offensive line at Vestavia Hills High School, including back-to-back selections on the All-Over the Mountain Team...twice named to the Pat Patrick Best of High School Football Best of the Rest...as a senior he earned a spot on the Birmingham News All-Metro Team and the All-South/Hoover team...was the Scott Mitchell Waggoner Memorial Award winner as his team’s Most Improved Player in 2009.
