A speedy cornerback who emerged as a starter late in his freshman season, Demario returns to that role in 2013 as the projected starter at field corner...he gets his work done on and off the field, earning a spot on the Athletic Director's Honor Roll in the spring semester...

AT TECH (IN 2012): Demario played in eight games as a true freshman, moving into the starting lineup for the final three games of theyear...finished with 27 total tackles, 13 unassisted...forced one fumble and broke up two passes...had a career-high 15 tackles in Tech's overtime victory against UT-Martin at Tucker Stadium...had just seven total tackles for the season heading into that contest...added five stops in the final game of the year at Austin Peay.

IN HIGH SCHOOL: A speedster in the secondary for coach Tony Brunetti at Pearl-Cohn High School, Demario was a three-year letterwinner for the Firebirds while attending Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet School in Nashville...a two-time all-district selection as a junior and senior, and added all-city and All-Mid-State honors as a senior...finished his final prep campaign with 63 total tackles and seven interceptions to lead Pearl-Cohn.
