Tre remains the Golden Eagles' projected starter for 2012 after starting all 11 games in 2011 and leading the Golden Eagles to the OVC Championship title...Helped the 2011 squad break nine team records in 2011 including but not limited to points scored in a season (355) highest scoring average in a season (32.3 points per game) and most first downs in a season (238)...an extremely intelligent player who knows the game well and has a keen understanding of the Tech offense...an exciting runner but also owns a strong arm and can make all the throws...quickly showcased his ability to make plays in a fast, no-huddle offense...brings a great temperament to the field...calm under fire...shows mobility and versatility...can move the offense in variety of ways...has found the end zone as both a runner and a passer...his name appeared on the Athletic Director's Honor Roll four of the past six semesters.

AT TECH (In 2011): Lamb carved his name into the Tech record books in 2011, snapping a colossal eight individual records and leading the Golden Eagles to nine team records as Tech's No. 1 signal caller. Lamb broke current receivers' coach Lee Sweeney's individual records for passing attemps in a single game (58 vs. TSU) and completions in a single game (36 vs. TSU) as well as Robert Craft's record completions in a season with 204 in 2011. His 69 plays against TSU worked to snap Sweeney's record for most plays in a game, while his 422 plays over the course of the season beat out Andre Caballero's 1997 record of 410. Lamb gained 2,555 yards of total offense to surpass Grant Swallow's 2001 record by 131 yards, and was responsible for 23 touchdowns (six rushing, 17 passing) to break another one of  Swallows' standing records. Lamb started all 11 games for the Golden Eagles, averaging 232.3 yards of total offense per game. He rushed for an average of 2.0 yards per carry and averaged 19.4 all-purpose gards per game. Lamb picked up 213 yards on the ground and threw for 2,342 yards and just 10 interceptions on the season. Completed 65.2 percent of his passes going 204-313 over 11 games. His longest carry and throw both came at UT Martin on Oct. 1, when he ran the ball for 50 yards and hurled it downfield for 72 yards in the Golden Eagles' victory on the road. Tech's game at EKU was Tre's top running game, as he moved the football for 70 yards and a touchdown on 16 rushing plays. Lamb's top throwing game came against TSU on Oct. 15 when he passed for 348 yards and two touchdowns, while his Nov. 19 effort in the Golden Eagles' OVC title game showcased three rushing TD's in 52 yards on the ground. Lamb was recognized at the season's end as the team's Most Valuable Offensive Player and as the winner of the Team Leadership Award.

AT TECH (In 2010): Moving into the starter's role as a sophomore, Tre was proving to be a team leader when an injury forced him to completely miss the final three games...started the first eight contests and passed for 974 yards and 11 touchdowns while throwing only four interceptions...completed 52.9 percent of his passes, going 73-for-136...had a passing rating of 133.91...after throwing for 99 yards at Arkansas and 50 at TCU, he was limited to 47 yards through the air in the rain-shortened game vs. Lane when Tech kept it on the ground most of the night...had a break-out game at eventual OVC champion Southeast Missouri, throwing for 246 yards and two touchdowns and nearly rallying the Golden Eagles to a comeback win...had his second 200-yard effort he next week against UT Martin, passing for 207 yards and three touchdowns...threw for 162 yards on 11-for-17 effort in win at Austin Peay...was 10-for-18 for 99 yards and three touchdowns in win at Tennessee State when he was injured...an effective runner, he gained 100 yards on 82 attempts including one touchdown...top game was 59 yards at Austin Peay, giving him 221 yards of total offense...top game was 266 in total offense at SEMO, including 20 rushing...notched his first career rushing touchdown against Eastern Illinois...his first career passing touchdown was against eventual Rose Bowl champion TCU.

AT TECH (In 2009): Tre made his Golden Eagle debut and saw action in seven games in a backup role to veteran Lee Sweeney...as a passer he completed 44.4 percent (8-for-18) of his tosses for 113 yards and had a 97.18 efficiency rating...rushed 21 times for a net of eight yards...gained 37 but was dropped for 29 in losses, most of that (19) coming against the Georgia Bulldogs...top rushing game was 13 yards, posted against both Eastern Kentucky and Jacksonville State...was 3-for-6 for 37 yards against Georgia for his top aerial effort.

AT TECH (In 2008): Tre was a redshirt for the Golden Eagles in his true freshman season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Tre posted a 21-4 record as the starter at quarterback for Calhoun High School, coached by his father, Hal Lamb....named first-team All-State by both the Georgia Sportswriters and the Atlanta Journal Constitution...two-time pick on the Rome News All-Area team and the Chattanooga Times-Free Press All-Area team...as a senior he was 159-for-229 for 2,232 yards with 27 touchdowns and only six interceptions...also had 40 carries for 219 yards and four scores...in addition to three letters in football, he also lettered three times each in basketball and baseball, and twice on the golf team.

PERSONAL: The son of Hal and Kim Lamb...birthdate is September 16, 1989...full name is Tre Andrew Lamb...majoring in interdisciplinary studies.
