Moving to the defensive side of scrimmage allowed Charlie to emerge as a standout performer in his sophomore campaign...ranked fourth on the team in total tackles, and led Tech while ranking sixth in the OVC in quarterback sacks with five...had 65 total tackles, including 30 solo stops...finished the year ranked second on the team in tackles-for-loss with 10.5 for team-best 47 yards in lost yardage...caused a fumble at Louisville...ranked 27th overall in the OVC in total tackles, averaging 5.4 per game...impressive game against Eastern Kentucky with career-high 12 total tackles, including 2.5 tackles-for-loss...had QB sacks against Gardner-Webb, Louisville, Central Methodist, Eastern Kentucky and Austin Peay...had eight tackles at Tennessee State, seven at Austin Peay and vs. Jacksonville State.
