Nick Fazio is in his first year as an assistant coach for Tech following his hiring in August 2023.

Fazio joined the Golden Eagles after spending the summer of 2023 as an assistant coach for the Madison Mallards of the Northwoods League, one of the nation's top collegiate summer leagues. On top of serving as the team's first base coach, he also instructed base running, outfield play, and bunting.

Prior to his arrival in Madison, Wis., Fazio was a graduate assistant for the baseball team at the University of Louisville for the 2022 and 2023 campaigns. He assisted the Cardinals' coaching staff with on-field development of student-athletes.

From June to August of 2021, he was the Athletic Director at the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County in Southold, N.Y.

Fazio earned his bachelor's degree in history and secondary education with a minor in coaching from Springfield College in May 2021. He went on to earn his master's degree in sports administration from Louisville in December 2023.
