High School: Rooker earned three letters as a third baseman at Celina High School in Celina, Texas for head coach Troy McCartney… hit .443 with a .566 on-base percentage, 47 hits, 36 RBI, 30 runs scored, and a school-record 43 stolen bases while compiling an 0.79 ERA on the mound as a senior… as a junior, recorded a .410 average with a .588 on-base percentage… named to the THSBCA 4A All-State First Team as a senior and 4A State Championship All-Tournament Team as a junior… earned Star Local Media All-Area First Team honors and was named All-Region First Team twice… picked up All-District accolades three times, including Offensive MVP as a senior… voted team MVP, led PHS to three district titles, two region crowns, three area championships, and a runner-up showing at the state tournament as a junior.

Personal: Son of Monica and Drew Rooker… born in Dallas, Texas on May 21, 2004… full name is Jackson Andrew Rooker… grandfather, Andy Rooker, played baseball at Rice from 1965-67, earning All-SWC honors as a center fielder in 1965… uncle, Scott Rooker, played baseball at Oklahoma from 2002-04.
