2024 (Sophomore): Pease appeared in a team-high 19 games on the hill for Tech, making five starts… ended the year second on the team and ranked in the top-10 in the OVC with a 6-3 record and 4.62 ERA while tying for the team lead with three saves… finished third on the team with 46 strikeouts and 60.1 innings of work while holding batters to a .258 batting average… allowed 31 earned runs on 59 hits with 22 walks… picked up his first win of the season with a season-long 4.1 innings out of the bullpen and four strikeouts against Queens (Mar. 8)… punched out a career-high eight batters while covering a career-long 8.2 innings without issuing a free pass against Southeast Missouri (Apr. 21) to earn his fifth win of the year… earned his first career save behind 3.0 innings of hitless and scoreless relief against Western Illinois (Mar. 30)… collected his second and third saves in back-to-back contests, finishing 2.0 scoreless frames at Lindenwood (Apr. 13) and another scoreless inning at Middle Tennessee (Apr. 17)… completed 8.0 innings with two earned runs allowed at SIUE (May 12)… struck out three or more batters eight times, including five straight appearances across February and March… covered more than 1.0 inning 14 times.

2023 (Freshman): Pease made 10 appearances for the Golden Eagles out of the bullpen… finished the year with a 5.14 ERA and four strikeouts over 7.0 innings of work… allowed four earned runs, seven hits, and nine walks… made his collegiate debut with 1.0 innings out of the pen against Bowling Green (Feb. 19)… tossed a season-high 1.2 innings against Southern Indiana (May 20)… did not allow a run in seven outings on the year, including each of his final five appearances… completed five showings out of the bullpen without surrendering a hit.

High School: Pease lettered three years as a pitcher and utility player at Farragut High School in Farragut, Tenn. for head coach Matt Buckner… as a junior, finished 9-1 with a 1.31 ERA, 1.18 WHIP, .195 opponent batting average, and 73 strikeouts in 58.2 innings on the hill… named to the 2021 Collegiate Baseball Preseason High School All-American First Team… finished his senior campaign with a 10-0 record, 1.58 ERA, 1.19 WHIP, .204 opponent batting average, and 72 K’s while covering 66.1 innings on the mound… took home a spot on the 2022 Collegiate Baseball Preseason High School All-American First Team… named TSSAA District 4AAA Pitcher of the Year in 2021 and 2022… earned TBCA Class 4A All-State Team and TSWA Class 4A All-State Team accolades as a senior… named Preseason All-Southeast Region by Perfect Game in 2020, 2021, and 2022.

Personal: Son of Nicole and Douglas Pease… born in Knoxville, Tenn. on October 9, 2003… full name is Jaxson Douglas Pease… father, Douglas, played soccer at Lipscomb in 1994.

Academic: Majoring in finance… named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll five times and the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll twice.
