2024 (Sophomore): McDuffie appeared in 11 ball games for Tech, making one start during the year… ended the year 0-1 with a 12.56 ERA and 14 strikeouts in 14.1 innings of work… allowed 20 earned runs, 30 hits, and seven walks… completed a season-high 3.1 innings on the hill in the season opener against Bellarmine (Feb. 16), fanning a pair… struck out a season-high three batters in back-to-back contests, starting with 1.0 inning of relief at #5 Tennessee (Mar. 26)… competed 2.0 shutout frames with just a single base runner allowed and three punch-outs against Morehead State (Apr. 5)… tossed a scoreless frame in the first game of a doubleheader with Little Rock (May 17)… held opponents without a run in three outings and without an earned marker four times.

2023 (Freshman): McDuffie made 17 appearances in his first season in the purple and gold, including one start… finished the season 1-2 with one save, a 7.31 ERA, and 14 strikeouts in 28.1 innings on the hill… allowed 23 earned runs, 36 hits, and 14 walks… made his Golden Eagle debut with 1.1 innings of work out of the bullpen against Bowling Green (Feb. 18), picking up his first career strikeout while allowing just one earned run… made his first career start with 2.2 innings pitched at Kentucky (May 9), striking out a pair… delivered 4.0 innings of hitless and scoreless ball for his longest outing of the year against ETSU (Mar. 17), earning his first career save… punched out a season-high three batters at Queens (Mar. 5)… earned his first career win in the second game of a doubleheader with North Alabama (Mar. 11)… tossed three or more innings three times and more than one inning 10 times… held opponents without a hit in three appearances… recorded six scoreless outings and seven without an earned run surrendered.

High School: McDuffie was a four-year letterwinner as a third baseman and pitcher at Mount Airy High School in Mount Airy, N.C. for head coach Josh Wilson… posted a 1-0 record with a 0.00 ERA, seven strikeouts, and zero walks in 6.0 innings on the hill as a sophomore before the remainder of the season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic… as a junior, turned in a 2-3 record, 2.68 ERA, 52 punch outs, and just six walks in 34.0 innings of work… delivered a 1-0 mark, 0.68 ERA, 10 K’s, and just one walk in 10.1 innings before missing the remainder of his senior campaign due to injury and Tommy John surgery… named to the 2021 North West 1A All-Conference Team.

Academic: Majoring in mechanical engineering… named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll five times and the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll twice.
