High School: Huddleston lettered as an outfielder and pitcher for head coach Wes Shanks at Upperman High School in nearby Baxter… as a senior, tallied a .383 average with five home runs, 19 doubles, and 55 RBI while compiling an 0.60 ERA, 9-1 record, and 106 strikeouts in 70.0 innings on the hill… registered an 0.55 ERA, perfect 10-0 record, and 100 punch-outs in 64.0 innings and batted .424 with four long balls and 40 RBI as a junior… during his sophomore season, hit .342 with 19 RBI while turning in an 0.90 ERA with 72 strikeouts and a 6-3 record… ended his career with an 0.65 ERA, 26-4 record, and 280 punchies in 182.0 innings on the mound and a .385 batting average, 10 dingers, and 118 RBI… named All-State three times and Middle Tennessee Pitcher of the Year twice… selected as a Small Town All-American… earned TSSAA 3AAA Mr. Baseball honors once and was a finalist twice… picked up spots on the TNBR All-Region 4 Team and All-State First Team as a senior… led UHS to a pair of district titles, one region championship, two substate crowns, and one state title.

Personal: Son of Alana and Chad Huddleston… born in Cookeville on March 1, 2005… full name is Eli Huddleston… uncle, Jason Stanton, played baseball at Middle Tennessee from 1993-96, earning All-OVC First Team honors in 1996.

Academic: Majoring in exercise science and physical wellness with an emphasis in fitness and wellness… named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll once.
