AT TECH IN 2010: Despite being sidelined for an injury mid-season, Rivers put up a .358 batting average in 2010, going 29-81 at the plate including 18 RBI, five doubles and four home runs. He returned from his injury in late April and put up one of his top performances of the year in the regular-season finale against Murray State when he went 6-11 with three RBI and two of his four home runs. A third baseman for the Golden Eagles, Rivers appeared in 24 games during his 2010 campaign at Tech.
