IN HIGH SCHOOL: Trey earned four varsity letters under Jimmy Parket and Steve Robbins. He was named TVCA second team all-state, TSWA all-state, all-district twice, all-region, Best of Preps, participated in the TN-GA All-Star Game and was his team's MVP. He batted .429 during his senior season with 12 homers, 43 RBI, 32 runs scored and 11 stolen bases to help lead his team to the district regular season and post-season tournament titles. His team went on to become regional champions, sub-state champions and the runner-up in the state championship.

PERSONAL:  Full name is Sydney George McCalla III, born June 12, 1992 in Chattanooga, TN. Son of Sydney and Elaine McCalla, plans to major in Electrical Engineering.
