In 2010 (Junior): Beech batted as high as .315 mid-season before settling to a final average of .270. He logged 43 hits - five of which were for extra bases - in 159 at-bats, batting in 24 runs and rounding the bases 40 times himself. Beech was a perfect 2.2 in stolen baes, and also took 25 walks, notching a .393 on-base percentage. A member of the 2010 OVC all-tournament team, Beech went 4-for-4 with two RBI in a crucial win over Murray State on day two of the tournament, and contributed another two RBI with a 2-for-4 performance in the team's final game against Jacksonville State. Those two games alone raised his batting average 25 points from a .245 to his final .270.
