A Cookeville native and 2011 Tennessee Tech graduate, Matt Dexter, 27, enters his 14th year on the Golden Eagle Athletics Staff. He serves as Assistant Athletics Director for External Relations.

Dexter oversees all game management for Tech's home basketball and football games, as well as soccer, volleyball, baseball, softball, and tennis. He also oversees maintenance of all of Tech's athletic facilities. During the summer, Dexter is involved in coordinating the popular Purple Pride Caravans, and in the summer he works in conducting the Bobby Nichols Scramble.

Dexter attended Monterey High School where he was a four-year letterman in both basketball and golf for the Wildcats.
