When Jillian Burns Elliott arrived in Cookeville, playing for the Tennessee Tech soccer team, the program was still relatively in its infancy.

But she quickly put the Golden Eagles on the map, becoming one of the most dominant players in the Ohio Valley Conference.

Elliott left a lasting impact on her Golden Eagle soccer teams, ending her illustrious career as one of the top offensive performers in program history. In fact, despite not suiting up in the Tech purple and gold for the last 10 years, Elliott still sits atop the all-time career list today with 40 goals, 96 points, 10 game-winning goals, 214 shots and 122 shots-on-goal.

Her 40 career scores are 16 more than second place on the all-time list, the 96 points are 29 more than the No. 2-spot, and the 122 shots-on-goal are a whopping 50 ahead of the next closest Golden Eagle.

Elliott is also the proud owner of a number of single-season Tech records, including most goals with 15, most points with 32, most game-winning goals with four, and shots-on-goal with 38. Her 15 goals in 2002 ranked second in the Ohio Valley Conference and put Elliott in the top 20 in the nation.

The Atlanta, Ga., native holds the top three single-season goal marks in program history, becoming the first and still only Golden Eagle to have three different years of double-digit scores.

Elliott showcased her in-match abilities time and time again for Tech, recording four of the program's six hat-tricks during her career, and her seven points in a win against Murray State on Oct. 23, 2003, is still the most in a single match in Tennessee Tech history.

For her efforts, Elliott was awarded with a plethora of hardware throughout her Golden Eagle tenure, taking home a pair of All-OVC first-team accolades, the 2002 OVC Freshman of the Year award, and she was named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll on nine separate occasions and the OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll twice in her career.
