A big and strong tight end, Matthew comes to the Golden Eagles from Blackman High School in Murfreesboro, Tenn., where he was selected as the Region 2-6A co-Lineman MVP along with fellow Tech signee Hudson Smith. Also named to the Daily News Journal All-Area first-team, the 6-foot-5, 240 pound Leifheit played in the East-West All-Star game.
