Tech women's basketball to hold first Education Day on Dec. 19 versus Winthrop

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – In a first at Tennessee Tech, the Golden Eagles women's basketball team will host Education Day in conjunction with its game versus Winthrop on Tuesday, Dec. 19.

Game time has been rescheduled for 11 a.m. CT.

Local students from Algood Middle School, Avery Trace Middle School, Prescott Middle School and Heavenly Host Lutheran School will be in attendance at Tuesday's game. Tech will implement open, general admission seating for this game only.

Schools around the Ohio Valley Conference have held Education Day games at various points throughout their respective women's basketball seasons. Tennessee Tech is the latest OVC program to add an Education Day game to its schedule.
