COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Golden Eagle football team has their home opener Thursday night, September 6, 2018. We have a national broadcast from Tucker Stadium under the lights as your Golden Eagles host Kennesaw State on ESPNU.
To prepare for the pregame activities in the 98.5 Kiss FM Tailgate Park, portions of the area will be blocked off and closed down around Tucker Stadium. Starting Tuesday night, all gates at Tucker Stadium will closed and locked down through game day. On Wednesday night, portions of the commuter lot between Tucker Stadium and Hooper Eblen Center, as well as, Stadium Drive from 12th Street to B Street will be shut down in preparation for pregame festivities.
Campus community members are encouraged to bike, walk or carpool to campus on Thursday. Additional parking is located across Willow Avenue with shuttles stops at those parking locations. Plan accordingly and give yourself extra time to be on time for class.
We appreciate your patience and understanding. The 98.5 Kiss FM Tailgate Park opens at 3:00 p.m., The Golden Eagle Walk is at 3:45 p.m. and kickoff is at 6 p.m.
