Tennessee Tech Baseball Weekend Preview (4/21)
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The four-game road stretch continues for the Tennessee Tech baseball team, as the Golden Eagles take a trip north for a three-game Ohio Valley Conference series at Murray State.
Beginning with a 6 p.m. CT contest Friday evening, the three-game set will pit two of the league's most potent offenses against each other, with each squad having scored over 300 runs already in 2016. Game two of the contest is set for a 2 p.m. start on Saturday with the series finale scheduled for a 1 p.m. first pitch Sunday afternoon.
The Golden Eagles enter the contest after defeating in-state rival Middle Tennessee in midweek action Wednesday evening, 9-6. Murray State is coming in off an 8-3 road loss at No. 14 Ole Miss Tuesday night.
