COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – With summer just about in full swing, it's time to start thinking about the Golden Eagle Soccer Academy ID Camp, slated for July 30 on the campus of Tennessee Tech University. Under the guidance of TTU head coach Steve Springthorpe and the rest of his coaching staff, the camp runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. CT on Tech Soccer Field and is open to all female soccer players, grades 9-12. Check-in is scheduled from 8:30-9.
The day's events include a pair of training sessions, panel discussion on the college process and life of a student-athlete, as well as games designed to help further enhance each player's skills.
The cost is $125 per person and payments can be made online via credit card or by check, which should be made payable to Springthorpe Soccer Academy.
