COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech women's golf team makes its return out east Monday and Tuesday, competing at the Terrier Intercollegiate in Spartanburg, S.C. two weeks after visiting Greenville N.C. for the Pirate Collegiate Classic. The Golden Eagles will visit Carolina Country Club for a 54-hole test at Wofford's fall event for the second straight year.

TERRIER INTERCOLLEGIATE: Oct. 24-25, 2022 – 54 holes (36 Monday, 18 Tuesday), located at the par-72, 6,056-yard Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg, S.C. The first round begins with a 7:30 a.m. CT shotgun start and will be immediately followed by the second round. The third round tees off with another shotgun start Tuesday morning.

GOLDEN EAGLE LINEUP: Competing for the Golden Eagles are senior Elisabeth Toennessen, junior Ainsley Simms, senior Makenzie Morton, senior Gittle Sciolis, and sophomore Reagan Stuke.

THE COMPETITION: The 17-team field consists of host Wofford, as well as App State, Boston U., Gardner-Webb, IUPUI, Longwood, North Alabama, Presbyterian, Samford, South Dakota, Tennessee Tech, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, The Citadel, UNC Asheville, USC Beaufort, USC Upstate, and Winthrop.

THOUGHTS FROM HEAD COACH AMANDA SMITH: "We love competing in this event. The course sets up really well for some low scores and it's definitely a challenging field, so that is great to compete with them. This line-up knows that we have to play mentally tough for 54 holes."
