COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- Starting times for Tennessee Tech's five home football games at Tucker Stadium have been announced for the 2015 season, including an hour earlier kickoff time for night games. The Golden Eagles' home schedule includes two afternoon games and three night start times. All five games will be played on Saturdays on Overall Field.
The first three home dates will all get underway at 6 p.m. CT, an hour earlier than the usual night starting time of past years. The night games will put the Golden Eagles against Mercer on Saturday, Sept. 19, UT Martin on Oct. 3, and Jacksonville State on Oct. 17.
Later in the season, Tech's final two home games will feature 1:30 p.m. starting times. Those games are Saturday, Nov. 14 for Homecoming against Austin Peay, and Nov. 21 for the regular season finale against Tennessee State.
On the road, the Golden Eagles currently face two night tilts and two daytime games, with two opponents yet to announce their starting times. The Golden Eagle games at Murray State on Sept. 26 and Eastern Kentucky on Oct. 10, will start at 6 p.m. CT. THe final two regular season road contests will begin at 1 p.m. CT at Eastern Illinois Oct. 24 and Southeast Missouri Oct. 31. The starting times at Houston on Sept. 5 and Wofford Sept. 12 have not yet announced.
