Taylor Ketchum snags adidas® Ohio Valley Conference Pitcher of the Week

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- Tennessee Tech sophomore Taylor Ketchum turned in a 2-0 performance over the weekend, helping her catch the nod for adidas® Ohio Valley Conference Pitcher of the Week award, announced Monday. Ketchum pitched a one-hitter in a 3-1 victory over Akron and claimed a 4-3 win in relief over St. John's.

Ketchum gave up just two hits in 10 innings of work in the team's season-opening weekend of play. She allowed just one hit in her complete-game win over Akron Sunday, marking her second win of the weekend. Ketchum also picked up the victory in Tech's comeback win over St. John's on Saturday.
