COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Starting times for all of Tennessee Tech’s basketball games during the 2015-16 season have been announced, including both home and away contests. The season begins Saturday, Nov. 7, with a women's exhibition game in the newly renovated Eblen Center against Tennessee Wesleyan at 6 p.m.

For the second consecutive year, Tech's Monday through Saturday single home games will begin at 6 p.m., a starting time switch that began last season and was met with tremendous approval from fans. Sunday home games tipoff at 2 p.m., while home doubleheaders are set for the usual starting times at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m.

The only exception to that schedule of doubleheaders comes on New Year’s Eve, Saturday, Dec. 31, when the Golden Eagle teams close out 2015 by opening up the Ohio Valley Conference season hosting Eastern Illinois in a pair of games. The women’s game will start at 1 p.m., with the men’s game scheduled for a 3 p.m. tipoff.

One exception to the men’s single game times is an OVC contest against Tennessee State on Thursday, Jan. 28, which has been edged back to an 8 p.m. start time to allow it to be televised by the American Sports Network.

The road games for both teams have a wide variety of starting times including an 11 a.m. matchup at Xavier for the women's team in December and a coule of 8 p.m. tip times for the men's team when they play in the Mountain Time Zone with games at Air Force and New Mexico State. There are a few afternoon contests, as well, so fans are encouraged to constantly check TTUsports.com for updates.

On additional quirk to the home schedule comes on Saturday, Nov. 28, when the men's squad hosts games in the Air Force Classic. Tech plays Robert Morris at 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 27, and hosts Mississippi Valley State at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 29.

In between, Tech will host a rare doubleheader on Saturday, Nov. 28 that doesn’t include the Tech women’s squad. The Golden Eagles will play against UC Clermont in the first game of the day at 5:30 p.m., while Robert Morris and MVSU square off in the nightcap at 7:30 p.m.

One special date is Saturday, Nov. 14, when Tech is celebrating Homecoming. The Golden Eagle football team hosts Austin Peay at 1:30 p.m. in Tucker Stadium, and that evening the basketball teams will host a doubleheader. The women face Arkansas State at 5:30 p.m. and the men play Piedmont College at 7:30 p.m.

Any ticket to the Golden Eagle football game will also receive admission to the basketball games that night.
