COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – It's nearing the home stretch for March's Golden Eagle Soccer Academy ID Camp, with time to still register for the event that is only a few weeks away. Registration is open for the camp, scheduled for Sunday, March 24, 2019 on the campus of Tennessee Tech University.
Under the tutelage of TTU head coach Steve Springthorpe and the rest of his coaching staff, the camp runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. CST on Tech Soccer Field and is open to all female soccer players, grades 9-12. Check-in is scheduled from 8:30-9.
Below is the schedule of events:
8:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. - Check-In
9:00 a.m. - 9:15 a.m. - Introductions
9:15 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. - Training Session 1
11:30 p.m. – Break for Lunch
(Lunch on your own)
12:30 p.m.– 1:15 p.m.- Panel Discussion
(The college process and the life of a Tennessee Tech student-athlete)
1:15 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. - Training Session 2
3:00 p.m. - 3:45 p.m. - Games
3:45 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. - Closing Remarks
The cost of the camp is $125 per person and payments can be made online via credit card of mailed by check, made payable to Springthorpe Soccer Academy.
