JACKSONVILLE – The Tennessee Tech women's track & field team returns to competition Saturday when it competes in the Gem of the Hill Invitational, hosted by Jacksonville State University at the Gamecock Track & Field Complex.

Field events will get underway at 8 a.m., while the running events begin at 11 a.m.

The Golden Eagles will join 19 other teams from around the region in the meet. Other teams expected at the JSU meet include Alabama A&M, Alabama State, Bevil State Community College, Birmingham Southern, Miles College, Montevallo, Stillman College, Albany State, Augusta State, Chattahoochee Tech, Clark Atlanta University, Emory University, Georgia State, Morehouse College, Oglethorpe University, Savannah College of Art & Design of Atlanta and the host Gamecocks. Tech and JSU are the only Ohio Valley Conference schools in the field.
