Alex is a tranfer from Oklahoma State who joined the Golden Eagles following the 2012-13 season, a year in which he participated as a freshman for the Cowboys...has already put together a prolific career after winning both the Tennessee Tech Outstanding Male Athlete of the Year and the Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year in 2015...left-handed player.

AT TECH (In 2014-15): Alex compiled a banner year en route to being selected as the Tennessee Tech Outstanding Male Athlete of the Year and 2015 Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year…named to the All-OVC first team…went 14-18 in singles action, with an 11-9 mark in the No. 1 spot in the lineup…went 6-2 in the OVC...recorded a 17-10 record in doubles action, including going 12-5 in the No. 1 spot in the lineup…went undefeated in doubles play in the OVC with a 7-0 record…went 5-5 in doubles action in tournament play.

AT TECH (In 2013-14): During the fall season, Alex made his Golden Eagle debut in tournament action...posted a 1-4 record in singles matches and teamed with Alberto Esteban for a 2-2 records in doubles action. During the spring season, Alex posted the Golden Eagles' best singles record at 15-3...won 14 of final 15 singles matches, with 10 of last 11 wins coming in straight sets...in the No. 1 spot, Alex finished the spring with a 15-2 record...had a dominating 8-1 OVC record.

AT OKLAHOMA STATE (In 2012-13): Went 5-5 in singles play at Nos. 5 and 6 as a newcomer to the Cowboy tennis program...contributed to OSU's strong doubles squad with a 6-1 mark at No. 3 with Brady Bohrnstedt...racked up a three-match winning streak in February, which included a win over Nebraska's Andrew Dzulnsky in the Cowboys' 4-3 victory on the road.

Personal: Born July 3, 1993...ranked as high as No. 1408 in ATP Rankings...won Ukrainian men's championship while at Donetsk National University...has one sister, Sasha.....enjoys playing guitar and reading books.
