COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Golden Eagle Sports Network will be
kicking off its fall broadcast schedule on Friday, Sept. 20 when
the Tennessee Tech soccer team takes on the Chattanooga Mocs at
home. This comes after a successful first year of over 100
broadcasts on the OVC Digital Network, which provided fans,
friends, and family the opportunity to watch and cheer on their
Golden Eagles from afar.
Due to last season’s success, the Golden Eagle Sports Network added more sports to its broadcast schedule. The Friday contest will mark the first time a Tennessee Tech home match has been broadcast on the OVC Digital Network. All broadcasts include play-by-play, three cameras, instant replay, and graphics. Along with soccer, home volleyball matches will also be streamed. The first volleyball match takes place on September 27 at 7 PM against Murray State.
All broadcasts are produced by the Tennessee Tech Sports Information Department.
The OVC Digital Network is official network of the Ohio Valley Conference. Broadcasts are free to watch, and can be viewed on personal computers, tablets, and mobile devices.
Fans can find the games by visiting OVCDigitalNetwork.com and looking for Tennessee Tech on the Live Events page. Some Tech road games may also be aired, as a handful of other OVC schools are also streaming fall sports.
During soccer broadcasts, play-by-play commentary will be provided by Dylan Vazzano and color commentary supplied by former Tech soccer player Emily Homan.
