COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech women’s basketball team is out of season, but the Golden Eagles continue to be active in the Cookeville community. That was evident on Friday as members of head coach Sytia Messer’s team visited Dodson Branch School for a basketball clinic.
The Golden Eagles along with assistant coach Coretta Brown spent the afternoon teaching basketball drills and interacting with the elementary students.
The Tennessee Tech women’s basketball team has done several outreach programs in the Cookeville area this year, including many visitations to local schools, food drives at home games and serving food during the holidays.
