Tennessee Tech Baseball Weekend Preview  (2/27)

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech baseball team returns to Quillen Field and Bush Stadium at the Averitt Express Baseball Complex for a three-game series again Bradley starting Friday, Feb. 28.

Game one of the series is currently scheduled for a 3:00 p.m. CT start on Friday with Saturday's game two slated for a 2:00 p.m. first pitch. Sunday's series finale is set to go off at 1:00 p.m.

Because of expected inclement weather in the Cookeville area heading into the weekend, fans are encouraged to check social media and the TTUSports.com website for updates concerning this weekend's schedule, should any changes occur.

The Golden Eagles enter play after falling on the road to Kentucky in midweek action, 13-3. The two teams played a shortened contest of just seven innings after agreeing to a mercy rule prior to the contest.

Bradley comes into the series at 1-6 on the year, having not played a midweek tilt. Last week, the Braves did a mini-tour of central Tennessee, visiting Middle Tennessee, Lipscomb, Austin Peay and Belmont in four consecutive days as part of the SAF Classic.

After falling to the Blue Raiders, 5-0, and the Bisons, 10-7, Bradley picked up its first win of the year over the Governors, 11-4. The Braves rounded out the weekend with an 8-7 loss at Belmont on Sunday.
