2022 (Junior): Giada Zhou put together one of the best seasons in the conference, becoming the first-ever Golden Eagle to take home the OVC Midfielder of the Year award to go along with an All-OVC first-team selection…started in 17 matches, playing a total of 1,362 minutes…notched two goals, both game-winning strikes, to go along with six assists to tie for 10^th most in a single-season in program history…six assists were good enough for second in the OVC…picked up 10 points to tie for ninth in the conference…attempted 34 shots to tie for seventh most in the league…went all 90 minutes in seven matches throughout the year, including the OVC Tournament championship match…notched three assists in a 4-1 win over Furman on Aug. 25 to tie for the second-most assists in a single match in program history…scored the game-winning goal and collected an assist for a three-point showing in a 3-1 nod at Middle Tennessee on Sept. 8…scored the game-winning goal in a win over SIUE on Oct. 6…attempted a season-high four shots in a scoreless draw vs. Lindenwood on Sept. 25 as well as a 3-0 victory over SEMO on Oct. 16.

2021 (Sophomore): Giada Zhou was one of four field players to start all 16 matches, finishing third among field players with 1,344 minutes of action…scored one goal and tallied one assists for a three-point showing…finished second on the team with 24 shots, nine of which were on-goal for a .375 shot on-goal percentage…scored the game-winning goal in the home opener in a 1-0 nod over Liberty on Aug. 22…played all 110 minutes and took three shots, two of which were on-goal in a scoreless draw at ETSU on Sept. 17…played 92 minutes and took a career and season-high five shots in a 1-0 victory over Eastern Illinois on Oct. 10…appeared in 103 minutes and attempted two shots in a 2-2 draw vs. Murray State on Oct. 21…assisted on the game-winning in the 55^th minute in the first round of the OVC Tournament in a 1-0 victory against Eastern Illinois on Oct. 29.

2020-21 (Freshman): Giada Zhou made significant contributions in her freshman season, playing in 10 total matches with five starts…appeared in 634 minutes throughout the spring…earned on assist for a one-point season…ended third on the team with 13 shots, four of which were on-goal for a .308 shot on-goal percentage…led all players in the match with three shots, including one on-goal in her first collegiate contest as part of a 1-0 win at Austin Peay on Mar. 2…assisted on the game-winning goal in a 1-0, overtime win vs. Eastern Illinois on Mar. 12…started three straight matches and attempted two shots in each of them (Mar. 19 at SEMO, Mar. 23 at Murray State and Mar. 26 vs. UT Martin)…tied a season-high with three shots and played in 66 minutes vs. Eastern Kentucky on Apr. 6 in the regular-season finale.

High School: Zhou attended Liceo Statale Marco Belli in Portogruaro, Italy.

Club/ODP Experience: Zhou spent the last three years with Tavagnacco Femminile, a high-level Italian women’s football club in Tavagnacco, Italy…in her first season with the squad in 2017-18, Zhou helped lead her team to a regional championship…in the 2018-19 campaign she helped her club finish second overall in the rankings…scored five goals as an attacking midfielder and helped guide her team to a fifth-place ranking in the 2019-20 season.
