Gagan is a transfer from the University of Nebraska, where he spent on season on the Cornhusker roster...after two years of experience, Gagan looks to play a larger role in the lineup...born in India, he spent his high school days in Colorado where he was an Academic All-State selection...began playing tennis at the age of 13.

AT TECH (In 2014-15): Gagan compiled a 3-7 record in singles action, playing primarily in the fall with a 2-6 tournament record…went a perfect 1-0 in the OVC during the spring…in doubles play went 3-4, going 2-2 in the fall…went a perfect 1-0 in the OVC during doubles action.

AT TECH (2013-14): Maintained a spot in the middle of the lineup...had a combined fall/spring record of 8-22...finished the season with a 7-16 doubles record, finishing 3-3 in OVC play.

BEFORE TECH: On the roster at the University of Nebraska, but an injury late in the fall season sidelined him from action... joined the Nebraska tennis team as a walk-on from Colorado in the fall of 2012...battled injury in the fall season and only played three singles matches for a 1-2 fall record...earned a spot on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll for Fall of 2012 and Spring of 2013.

HIGH SCHOOL: Spent four seasons at the No. 1 position for his ThunderRidge High School team...was a Top 8 finisher in the Colorado state high school championships as a sophomore...an Academic All-State winner as a junior and senior.

PERSONAL: The son of Anil Kumar and Prathibha Anil...full name is Gagan Anil Jain...born May 14, 1994 in Tumkur, India...majoring in finance... earned spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the fall and spring semesters of 2012-13.
