COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Just one more tournament sits between the Tennessee Tech men's golf team and a four-month layoff following the fall season, as the Golden Eagles head to Middle Tennessee territory for The Grove Intercollegiate.

Spanning three days from Sunday to Tuesday, the 54-hole event will kick off with a 9 a.m. start at the Grove Golf Club. The par-72, 7,368-yard layout will play host to a 12-team field in College Grove, Tenn. Here's a look at the participating teams:

Freshman Alexander Riddle will see his first tournament as a member of the starting five after turning in a solid Golden Eagle debut last week at the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate playing as an individual. Senior Lee Whitehead will look for his third top 15 finish of the season after tying for 15th last week.

"As we close out the fall, we cannot think of a better way to finish then at this new event hosted by MTSU," head coach Polk Brown said. "As an old OVC rival, our guys are fired up to hit the course come Sunday. The Grove looks to be an unbelievable venue. Furthermore, the field will undoubtedly be the strongest and toughest we face all year. These young men have an excellent opportunity to create a ton of momentum as we head into the winter months."
