2019 (Sophomore): Higdon made 26 starts while playing in 36 total games between second base, shortstop and third base… finished the year with a .186 batting average, .301 slugging percentage and .227 on-base percentage… posted 16 runs, 21 hits, 14 RBI, four doubles and three home runs… made his first collegiate start at Lipscomb (Mar. 13)… turned in season-highs of three hits, three runs and three RBI against Alabama A&M (Apr. 16)… put together three more multi-hit performances during the season.

2018 (R-Freshman): Higdon appeared in four games off the bench, finishing the year batting .500… went 2-for-4 on the year with a run scored, a double, a home run and one RBI… appeared in his first collegiate game as a pinch hitter against Illinois State (Feb. 24)… ripped a double down the right-field line against Lipscomb (Feb. 27) for his first career hit… also smashed his first career home run later in the same game.

2017 (Freshman): Higdon sat out the 2017 season as a redshirt.

High School: Higdon lettered four years as a second baseman and shortstop for head coach Chuck Cooper at Jackson Christian High School… completed his career with a .364 average, 98 runs scored and 109 RBI… batted a whopping .439 with 39 runs scored and 47 RBI as a senior… as a junior, hit .323 with 28 runs scored and 19 RBI… mashed .392 with 21 runs scored and 28 RBI as a sophomore… led JCHS to four straight district titles, region titles in 2014, 2015 and 2016 and the state title in 2014… named All-District, All-Region and All-West Tennessee as a sophomore, junior and senior… took home All-State Second Team honors and District Player of the Year honors as a senior… earned 2016 Perfect Game All-Southeast Region Honorable Mention accolades.

Academic: Majoring in agriculture with an emphasis in agribusiness management… named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll twice.
