Tech runners return to Evansville for final regular season meet

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Tech cross country teams return to Evansville Saturday for the first time in two years to run in the Evansville Invitational. The starting gun sounds at 11 a.m. Tech is coming off a strong showing last week at the Furman Invitational, where the men finished sixth among 17 teams and the women -- led by Stephanie Place -- claimed fourth among 18 teams. Place earned her fourth OVC Runner of the Week honor for her performance.
