2019 (Sophomore): Hand appeared in all 30 of the team’s matches, competing in all 112 sets overall… led the team and ranked fourth in the OVC with 1,109 assists and 9.90 assists per set… her 9.90 assists per set was the fifth-best mark in a single season in program history during the rally scoring era… finished second on the Tech squad with 20 service aces and a .278 hitting percentage, third with 277 digs, and fourth with 43 total blocks… totaled 84 kills and 128.5 points… picked up her first career double-double with 15 kills and 12 digs against Arizona State (Sept. 6)… fired off a career-high 58 assists at Evansville (Sept. 17) and again at Eastern Illinois (Oct. 18)… ripped off a career-best eight kills with a whopping .700 hitting percentage at Tennessee State (Oct. 12)… tallied a career-high 18 digs against Eastern Kentucky (Oct. 4)… fired a career-best four service aces against North Alabama (Sept. 14) and again against Southeast Missouri (Sept. 28)… posted a season-high four blocks three different times… racked up 14 double-doubles with assists and digs… recorded at least 30 assists 23 times, at least 40 assists 13 times, and at least 50 assists in six matches… posted four straight with 50 or more assists between Sept. 17 and Sept. 21, all double-double efforts.
2018 (Freshman): Hand played in nine of Tech’s 30 matches, appearing in 14 of 118 sets overall… totaled 26 assists, 1.86 assists per set, three kills, seven digs, four total blocks, and 5.5 points… made her collegiate debut at Western Illinois (Aug. 25)… registered her first career kill, assist, and dig against Hampton (Aug. 30)… doled out a season-high nine assists with a kill and a dig against Montana State (Sept. 14)… racked up a season-high three total blocks against East Carolina (Sept. 1), chipping in six assists… also notched six assists at Seattle U (Sept. 14).
High School: Hand was a four-year letterwinner as a setter for head coach Sally Moos at Cherry Creek High School in Greenwood Village, Colo.… racked up 631 assists, 197 digs, 72 kills, and 31 blocks as a senior… helped lead the Bruins to a Class 5A runner-up finish at the 2017 Colorado High School Activities Association State Tournament… also helped CCHS to league and regional titles in 2017… named to the All-State First Team by the CHSA and was an Aurora Sentinel All-Centennial League selection in 2017… in 2016, led her school to a fifth-place showing at the State Tournament.
