Rebecca O’Shurak is in her third year as assistant coach of the Tennessee Tech soccer team in 2016. The Meadville, Pa. native handles the responsibility of training and coaching the Golden Eagle goalkeepers, and works with the team's video editing, database entry, and other electronic and social network items.

Prior to her arrival at Tech, O’Shurak enjoyed a successful tenure as a men’s and women’s assistant coach at Thomas More College, an NCAA Division III school in Crestview Hills, Ky. She spent two years as a member of the Saints coaching staff and through a combined four seasons, both the men’s and women’s teams flourished in winning the regular season and conference tournament championships in all four campaigns. In fact the women’s team at Thomas More went a combined 18-0 in conference play during O’Shurak’s stint.

Prior to her run at Thomas More, O’Shurak spent one year as assistant soccer coach and resident director at Earlham College, an NCAA Division III school in Richmond, Ind., where she created a recruiting database to help aid the recruiting process of potential student-athletes, and designed and implemented position specific training sessions for goalkeepers.

O’Shruak graduated from Allegheny College in 2011, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts degree. She suited up for the Gators as a goalkeeper, playing a pivotal role in their 2010 NCAA Division III National Tournament bid as a senior, helping lead the squad to a 14-3-4 overall record. During her time at Allegheny, O’Shurak also served as a Media/Recruiting Assistant for Women’s Soccer as well as an Athletic Communications Intern and an office assistant for football recruiting.
