A look at Tennessee Tech

Tech's season-best, three-match winning streak features a piece of program history after the Golden Eagles scored at least four goals in three straight contests for the first time ever. Tech's 14 goals over the last three affairs are also a school record.

With the recent offensive surge, the Golden Eagles (3-6-6, 3-0-2 OVC) have catapulted themselves to the top of the OVC in goals behind 20. The purple and gold have led the conference in scoring in each of the last three seasons.

Individually, Natalie Howard leads the team with five goals and 12 points. The sophomore forward is currently tied for fourth in the OVC with those five scores and is knotted for third in the league with her 12 points. Lucia Cuadra's 11 points tie her for fourth in the conference, while the graduate midfielder's four goals are good enough to put her in a deadlock for sixth in the OVC.

Melina Hamm is currently tied for first in the conference in assists thanks to four helpers this season.

Defensively, Tech has yielded just one goal in each of the last three matches. Maggie Conrad has picked up a combined 11 saves over the surge, which includes an OVC-high six stops in Thursday's 4-1 win at Morehead State in TTU's last contest.

With four matches remaining in the regular season, the Golden Eagles are currently sitting in second place in the league with 11 points. Eastern Illinois, with a 4-0-1 OVC record, has a conference-leading 13 points.

A look at UT Martin

The Skyhawks come to Cookeville having dropped three consecutive contests with losses to Little Rock, SEMO and Eastern Illinois. The club's lone OVC win was a 4-2 victory at Lindenwood on Sept. 25 in a match that saw UTM produce a season-high in goals scored.

UT Martin's 12 goals allowed is the fewest in the league, but the club's seven goals scored is tied for the second-lowest in the conference. The Skyhawks (1-7-6, 1-3-1 OVC) are tied for third in the league with five shutouts, but have also been blanked 10 times in 2025.

Peyton Cook's three goals and eight points lead the team. Anna Ostergaard Ibsen's is the only other Skyhawk with more than one goal behind two scores this season.
