GLENDALE, Ariz. – Tennessee Tech women's golf opens the spring season with 7th in the BGSU Collegiate at Wigwam Resort – Blue in Glendale, Ariz. Sydney Branson records a career-low 71 in the final round of action.
The Golden Eagles began the 2026 Spring Championship season at a very competitive course in the golf mecca of the world, The Wigwam Resort – Blue, in Glendale, Arizona. Branson shot lower than her first round 72 to post a career-low round 71 in the final round of action.
Branson finished tied for 23rd after making four birdies during the final 18 holes of play to close at 10 over for the 54-hole tournament.
Summer Pilot finished tied for 23rd, with Branson, at 10 over and carded a final round 76 with one birdie today. Pilot had a successful first tournament as a member of the starting lineup for the first time in 2025-26, recording a career-low 72 in the first round yesterday and finishing strong today.
Kaydi Rhodes shot a 75 today to finish 13 over with a pair of birdies during the final 18 holes. Rhodes closed the tournament in 32nd with a three-over third round.
Chloe Griffith finished 43rd with a 17-over carded score for 54 holes. During the final round, Griffith shot an 79 (+8) with three birdies.
Kailey Lane finished 46th with a 16 over, after shooting +3 (74) during the final 18 holes. Lane finished with birdies on two holes (16 and 18) today.
