JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech indoor track & field team wrapped up action at the Buccaneer Track & Field Invitational, hosted by ETSU, Saturday afternoon, producing another strong mix of results after a great performance on Friday.

Once again, it was the Golden Eagle distance runners leading the way, with the group posting a podium finish and two more top-10 showings. Ruby Wyles paced the purple and gold with a runner-up result in the 3,000-meter run, flashing to a personal-best time of 10:03.65.

Amanda Laboy also contributed a career-best mark, clocking in at 10:27.77 to place sixth overall in the event. In the one-mile run, Tina Cesnik smashed her previous PR with a time of 5:16.35 to finish fifth overall. It also represents one of the top-10 times in the Ohio Valley Conference this season.

In middle distance, it was youngster Nyla Armand rolling to a personal record. Competing in the 800-meter run, the rookie placed first in her heat with a time of 2:24.03.

Cayla Johnson garnered a top-five finish in the 60-meter hurdle finals, posting a time of 9.27 seconds. In the 60-meter dash final, it was Tenae Minor racing to a top-10 performance, clocking in with a time of 7.92 seconds.

The Golden Eagle 4x400-meter relay team claimed a podium showing on the day as well. Trenia Stephens, Anya Akili, Diamond Rush, and Amara Nwajagu all teamed up to deliver a time of 4:00.21 seconds, placing third overall.

Madison Cowan wrapped up the showing of personal records on the day, setting a new PR in the triple jump with a leap of 11.01 meters (36'1.5").
