COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – There's a new face on the Tennessee Tech softball coaching staff as head coach Bonnie Graham has added Megan Mihaliak as an assistant coach.

"I am excited to have Megan working with us this spring," Graham said. "She will be a great addition to our staff and help build our Tech Softball family and culture in 2019."

A 2016 graduate of Maryville College, where she was a four-year starter as a shortstop/utility player, Mihaliak was most recently an assistant softball and girls soccer coach at Wilson Central High School. At WCHS, she worked with the Lady Wildcats' middle infielders and hitters for the 2017 and 2018 campaigns.

Mihaliak also served as an assistant coach at West Wilson Middle School, working with the team's outfielders and hitters.

She also taught Honors World History and AP European History while at Wilson Central.

As a student-athlete at Maryville College, she was a four-time selection to the USA South Academic All-Conference team and was a fixture on the Maryville College Dean's List.

Mihaliak joins the staff after the departure of Ashley Taylor, who joined the softball coaching staff at Ohio University in September.
