Wright State then extended their lead to 4-1 in the bottom of the third with a sacrifice fly from the Raider's Ashton Slayer. A wild pitch then allowed Wright State to drive in another run in the bottom of the sixth and to seal a Raider's 5-1 victory.

Thomas (1-3) suffered the loss going for .2 innings and giving up three runs on no hits while striking out one and walking three. Ashley Sharp was the winning Raiders pitcher going for all seven innings and giving up one run on two hits while striking out four and walking none.
