COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – History has been achieved for the Tennessee Tech tennis team and TTU Athletics invites all fans to join in on the fun of another NCAA Tournament appearance.

The Golden Eagles just became the first team since the 90s to win four straight OVC Tournament titles, and on Monday, Apr. 29, the club will learn when and where they are playing in the NCAA Tournament with the official NCAA selection show. All fans are welcome to attend, free of charge, a special viewing party in the Eagles Nest on the fourth floor of the Hooper Eblen Center. Fans are encouraged to arrive 4:30 p.m. CT and the show will begin at 5 p.m.

Light refreshments will be served and the whole team and coaching staff will be in attendance for the joyous occasion.

Tech captured the program's 10th OVC Tournament championship, and fourth straight, with a 4-2 win over Jacksonville State Sunday afternoon in Nashville. The Golden Eagles are the only current league member with a four-peat in the event.

The 2019 NCAA Tournament first and second rounds will occur May 3-5 in a variety of on-campus sites. The Round of 16 is slated for May 10-11. The rest of the tournament, including the semifinals and finals, will take place May 16-19 from the UTSA National Campus in Orlando, Fla.
